Co-Plane antennas are our half-wave dipole co-axial antennas with a horizontal groundplane added, offering a vertically polarized, 3dB gain, omnidirectional radiation pattern, making them become two-element co-linear antennas.
These make fantastic base station & repeater antennas. They are built from high quality aircraft aluminum, and will be custom tuned to your specified transmit frequency.
In addition to our standard models, we also offer DC-grounded shunt fed models, which have all external surfaces at ground potential. A lightning strike will be conducted down the the vertical and down to ground through the support pipe through the grounded tower or support structure.
